Vampire Bat

Designed by Kevin Brekke, “The Ninjaneer,” and manufactured by DGS Ninja, the Vampire Bat is a versatile obstacle with multiple setup options and unique movement challenges. Moving the weight to the left or right position changes the starting orientation, placing the special delivery slots at the top, bottom, or side of the Bat. For maximum versatility, we recommend mounting the Vampire Bat with our J Pipe, but it can also be mounted on any compatible cross pipe of the correct size.

With the weight in the center position, the Bat starts upright. Athletes can transfer onto the Bat by grabbing the special delivery slot at the top or the sides of the head. From there, they must transfer to one of the slots on the wings before dropping down and lacheing to the next obstacle.

The Bat's tail creates an additional challenge by requiring athletes to clear it during the lache. Two included pegs add another variation. Use the peg holes to create a more technical weight-transfer challenge, or require athletes to use only the pegs for an even more difficult setup.
