Athletes slap the arm to flip the obstacle mid-air, then catch the hook to complete the challenge. It adds a dynamic flip-and-catch transition that tests timing, accuracy, and coordination.
For the standard slap challenge, reverse the obstacle’s orientation and use a ring to slap the striking arm, flipping it mid-air before catching the hook in its reversed position. For an easier alternative, position the hook facing toward you and catch it directly with a ring. The adjustable plastic bearing fits both 1.66" and 1.9" pipes, giving you flexibility when setting up your course.
