The Ground Plate is required for use of the Ascending Steps. These 5' wooden Ground Plates velcro to carpet bonded flooring. The bases of the Ascending Steps are designed to bolt into T-Nuts on the Ground Plate which allow for 6" increments of horizontal adjustments.
